Last weeks paper marbling DIY left me with a whole stack of beautiful marbled paper, but I was at a bit of a loss as to what to do with it all, there’s only so many sheets you can frame and hang right? So I decided to turn it into modern day contact and jazz up a few boring notebooks I had lying around.
All you need is a notebook smaller than the sheet of marbled paper and an adhesive. I used my Xyron sticker maker but I’ve listed 3 options for the adhesive below. Then simply lay your marbled sheet face down, place the notebook on and gently wrap around. Tuck in any excess and ta-da!
- Use a sticker maker like the Xyron, which will turn the entire sheet of paper into a sticker
- Adhere double sided tape around all 4 edges of the sheet of paper and a strip to the spine of the notebook
- Place your marbled sheet on a piece of clear contact and trim slightly bigger than the sheet to adhere to notebook
