This year I gave myself a ‘leave pass’ for January, committing to looking after myself a little better than usual, finding time to lie in the sunshine and read a book with no guilt associated and just pop in to the blog once a week. And for the most part I think I’ve done a pretty good job of pouring back in to the ‘me’ bucket. But it hasn’t all been beachside sipping cocktails, I’ve been doing my fair share of planning and preparing for a BIG year ahead. As always new beginnings and ventures seems to open the door for fear to walk back in to our lives. I went back through my archives and printed out these words and have had them in front of me each day as I face my desk. Coupled with the golden advise out of my latest read Big Magic (if you haven’t read it, YES it is as good as every review you’ve heard, get it NOW and read it ASAP) I’m not letting fear paralyse me this year, sorry fear but you’re just going to have to learn to quiet on down.
